So, here's the thing - I've always had a passion for recycling and repurposing materials into unique crafts. Skateboards, in particular, have caught my attention as a versatile medium for creativity. However, there was just one teeny-tiny issue: finding used skateboards to work with was quite the challenge. But hey, why let that stop me? Determined to bring my artistic visions to life, I took matters into my own hands and came up with a brilliant solution – crafting my very own dyed maple plywood!
With some patience and plenty of trial and error, I learned how to transform raw maple plywood into vibrant hues that perfectly complemented my designs. And you know what? It turned out even better than using pre-existing skateboards because not only did it allow me to express my individuality through unique creations but also gave me a chance to personalize the boards into usable sizes.
My boards are larger and just as sturdy as a skateboard.
